I had a D&C on 12/28 after I lost my identical twins. I got what I thought was AF on 1/16. I had a very light cycle for a few days. Then a few days later I started spotting and have been spotting on and off every since. Today's opk looks promising. Second line is getting darker when it wasn't even there 2 days ago but I'm still spotting. Will I ovulate??? While spotting?
it's possible to get ovulation spotting, but it's uncommon
it could be hormonal instead, but if you're coming up to ovulation anyway it really could be that
My after period of dANDc was similiar...I would bleed for 2 weeks from AF-ovulation with a +OPK and I was miserable...it did slow down enough to DTD but I had a chemical.
My body has taken a full 3 months to recover and I'm still not sure it has.
Bleeding around ovulation should be considered a high fertility sign whether its from the egg breaking free from the ovary or from a shift in hormones.
I do every month almost. Usually before the egg pops as i can feel that too. Hth! :)
I missed this the first time, but also wanted to mention that many people have spotting from their cervix around ovulation because it gets very soft and open and can be easily injured at this time. SEx or even straining from having a BM can cause it. This may be aggravated by some supplements that people take both for pink and blue sways, so it is not uncommon to have this occur when swaying even if you've never had it before.
