In November (after 6 months on girl diet) DH had a sperm test, it came back as excellent in all areas. It still took us 18 months to conceive but I'm sure that was me. We did do the normal sperm test things of abstaining for two days and then he released in the morning.
Has anyone had a DH with a high sperm count and conceived a girl?
When we did get pregnant we were doing shallow penetration after hot showers.
I'm guessing it's bad news for me :(
Maybe out this in the conceiving boy bit as you might have more girl mums to reply
Tulips, I wouldn't worry about it. There are millions of girls conceived from healthy dudes with great sperm counts. I am not sure what my ex-dh's count was, but we were in our mid-20s and he was really healthy, so I have no reason to think his count was not good. I think the reason I got DDs was because I was TOTALLY on the girl diet and we bd O+12....I was on the fertility awareness method of bc, so I thought I was done Oing both times. (Oooops) You have just as good of a chance of having that baby be a girl as any other mom with a virile healthy dh, hun!
i got 1 girl in my bunch with dh having a high sperm count!
I agree with Lola, Tulips! I think a high sperm count isn't a bad thing for EITHER gender. I have 2 DD's and am pretty sure DH has a high count, just based on age, lifestyle, and how quickly we've gotten pg in the past.

You got some great advice already but I think what matters for pink is not the number of sperm a guy can produce (after all, just think of the Duggars, they never had any trouble falling pg and look how many girls they have!!) but the number of sperm that end up making it up into the Fallopian tubes - and THAT you have tons of control over. Taking hot showers and shallow penetration can help you a lot as can the diet and you did those things! I am hoping this is it for you! Good luck!!
