i think that your both vegetarians thats great. i think it will only help your sway. i cant add what i eat right now but i will later.
I'm a vegetarian (since early 90s) and mostly vegan but I did recently add non-fat yogurt to my diet for the girl diet. I've got 2 boys but I'm swaying PINK this time. For me, I can easily make the low sodium & more calcium work but it's the low nutrients which are difficult for me...I'm finding the foods I eat have too many nutrients in them. I think you can definitely make it work being a vegetarian (especially as it normally does sway pink) but you just have to stick to the girl diet. I've not being doing as well as I should but I know it can be done. I would love to see other vegetarians chime in and say they've been successful in PINK sways...GL on your sway.
Teh low nutrients are the LEAST important. Low fat low protein low cal low blood sugar, are MUCH more important.

Oh, that actually sounds REALLY good! But is it at all girl-sway friendly?
My husband and I eat a LOT of beans and lentils with quorn as a main meat-replacer (soy less often) and we drink whole milk (due to our son still young) and so on... so while vegetarian may sway pink, I doubt we eat very pink considering. Haw. That's why I'm curious. I see people eating/having chicken as their "meat/protein" option for when they need it, but what do vegetarians do? Tofu? But then... in case the sway doesn't work, too much soy can cause problems in a developing boy?
Although, I DID just find this... lean meat substitutes. Are those all good options for a girl sway veggie diet?

I don't think it's terrible for a girl diet. Yes, it's whole grain and healthy and has sodium, but seriously, when stacked up against a lot of meals it is girl friendly.
Yes, I would do away with the whole milk and cut back on the lentils and beans. It is TOTALLY possible for vegetarians to have (many) boys but I suspect that if you had 10 kids and a meat eater had 10 kids, you would have more girls than the meat eater does even on your every day diet.
Tofu is actually ok on a girl diet now and then. People who eat too much soy are rarely eating tofu 2X a week, they are eating soy burgers and drinking soy milk every day and that is what is probably not the best idea when TTC. I know a lady who eats soy protein at basically every meal. I will check out the link and get back to you.
Link - in moderation (2X a week), if you are keeping protein under 40 g a day, then yes those could be a part of a girl diet BUT they are kinda alkalinizing some of them (if you are terribly concerned with that.) I would prefer if every pink swayer stayed away from nuts and nut butter because of hte healthy fats in them.
