question/advice needed

My cycle was kinda wacky thus month. I have been ovulating on day 10 since coming off birth control a few months ago making short cycles. This time I thought I missed it cuz I never got a positive...until today... day 15! Today is Tuesday. I had lots of ewcm Saturday night and Sunday into the night. None Monday. Positive opk today but no ewcm. Weird! We dtd last night cuz I was worried I might be missing it so far into the month and having had ewcm this weekend (I work weekends so no dtd ): Sooo...now what to do? He"emptied" Sunday night. Dtd Monday night. + opk Tuesday am. so dtd again tonight? I am thinking we should since I may be called in tomorrow night. What do you think is going on with cm? It's just watery today so maybe back to ewcm tonight or tomorrow. Weird though! Hubby did caffeine before attempt last night, I did mucinex and preseed. Have been doing he diet, workout, fertile cm, high potassium, cereal, supplements, etc. hope we're covered. Just worried about girl sway cuz hubs did not empty for like a week, then back to back in window. Yikes! Help me not freak out! Lol

A few attempts during your fertile window sways blue not pink. so don't worry about DTD back to back. As you want to increase the numbers of sperm making it to the egg. I know this is a little late so I hope you DTD again last night and even again this morning would only have helped.

I had an O-3, O-2, O day 7am & 10pm. I had also been hoping to get an attempt in O-1 but it didn't work out because both myself & DH were sick. A lot of the sucessful sways have DTD patterns like this.

I think DTD when you notice ewcm and when you get a +opk, then all bases are covered.

I would def have you attempt again (I know I'm late to reply but just to verify)

I just answered your other post but I suspect the Fertile CM is delaying your O.

When you are swaying blue, you need hubby to clean the pipes every 2-4 days for as far in advance of your attempt as is possible. Even like 3 months before will help. Doing it at the last minute (like a week before attempt) does not improve sperm health and numbers much if at all.

Thank you so much for your replies! So nice to know people want to help :-) Wish I would've dtd last night and this am. Hubby would have been beside himself lol! Anyways we waited till this am. So it sounds like we should dtd again tonight if I'm not working? First + opk yesterday am. I keep thinking frequent release is for a girl but I guess that's just before the fertile window? I was disappointed he went a week without "emptying." We NEVER go that long; usually average 2-3 times a week. But I sought want to skip this month just because of that. I was glad too find out he had emptied without me the night before lol! Oh...wanted to pass on something I read from an MD the way he stated it was cute. Might not be a new one but it was for me: be sure to have plenty of intercourse in the 3-5 days around ov for procreation; after that it's just recreation ;-)

If you are ok on diet, when in doubt, BD.

I would DTD again, some people will tell you not to because they're scared of O+12 though.

Frequent release takes A LOT of releasing OUTSIDE of the fertile window. You have to have DH release 7-10 days on his own and then attempt, for it to be frequent release (and most people do only one attempt with FR). If you have a few releases in your fertile window, that is NOT FR and will sway blue.

Sorry i was just reading up... same with me and DH we always usally do 2-4days sometimes every 2 days or 3 just varies.. in the month of our attempt soon as AF is over should we let him release inside of us with no condom keeping in mind we DTD every 2-3days..?? is that right and soon as we get the
+OPK we go for atleast 3-5 attempts in our fertile window.. so e.g we could do it 1 day before +opk and then soon as we get +opk we do 3 tries or 4?

Thats righ, no condoms, DTD every 2-3 days then when you get the +opk DTD 3 times in 24hrs.
