1st trimester glucose screening

My first pregnancy I was diagnosed with GD at 24weeks. It was controlled through diet. Second pregnancy the doctor had me tested in 1st trimester and I failed the 2 hour test and had to begin diet control. But we lost the baby at 20wks. :sad:

Is it common to start diet restrictions since first trimester itself. Which week did most of you had glucose screening ?

I had glucose screening at the end of the 2nd trimester all 5 pregnancies.

I had mine done at 27 weeks, failed it, went back at 28 weeks and passed the 2 hour one (with fasting)

Sorry you lost your baby <3. It makes sense to start that early and have every thing under control and monitored.
