So confused with my chart this month! Is the vitex and saw palmetto even working?

So I have extremely regular cycles, even when I was on mirena! I have 28 day cycles and I O on cd 14. I started taking vitex and Saw palmetto last month to help my girl sway and I was worried it might delay O but I heard if it did that was a good think cause it meant it was working. Well ff has me Oing on cd13 a day early! I am so confused! Is the vitex ans saw evening working. I am also drinking peppermint tea. I am planning a cut-off next month, my trying to O+12 has not worked but now I am worried I may O early again! I don't know!

Please don't worry. I occasionally say it ~may~ be good and ~may~ indicate a change in hormones. But no one knows, really. It hasn't been studied. It is totally possible your hormones could have changed even if your cycle stays totally regular. I would take Oing EARLY as meaning that your hormones are different too - it doesn't have to be Oing late, KWIM?? Different is different). The data indicates that neither long cycles or short cycles seem to sway at all.

I wouldn't worry about it at all because I know tons of women who took vitex and SP, had no negative effects on their cycle, and went on to conceive baby girls.

What I would do for a cut off is either do OPK or get a fertility monitor (if you don't already have one) and use them in addition to temping as an additional layer of protection. Go for a 3 day cutoff and that way if you do O a day early again, you'll still have a 2 day cutoff.

This is my first month using vitex and I think I O a day early too? I was expecting to o a day late! So you're not alone!!
