E2 (estradiol) and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone)

Dr Potter I have been asked to do this on day 2,3 or 4 of my cycle by you. Can you please tell me what this is and how is it performed. I have to wait for my cycle in May first. I'm 26 so which day is best to book this.

Also you have asked me to have a ultrasound to evaluate the number of antral (resting) follicles on day 2, 3 or 4 of my cycle. Again which day would be best for me.

Day 3 is best for both. Day 2 or 4 is also fine. Day 2 is better than day 4.
