Since we aren't TTC for at least a year or so, I want to use some form of birth control until then. Is a Mirena IUD or the Mini-pill (I'm breastfeeding so my only oral option) best for TTC a DD? Thanks!

Can't speak to which one is better for a girl but 2 different friends has Mirena & they both had horrible experiences. One had it removed within 2 months of having it she was so miserable. She had AF the ENTIRE time.
I have used the mini-pill in the past & I am about to go back on it. Out of my 4 kids my only DD was conceived within 1 month of coming off of the mini-pill.
I don't know about Mirena in terms of swaying...but I had mirena for a year and a half and had a lot of trouble with cramping, ovarian cysts (had surgery on one of them) and the removal was a NIGHTMARE. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
I've heard nothing but bad things about mirena in terms of the cramps, etc. I'll def. be going with the pill. Swaying pink isn't worth being miserable!
We don't have enough data to know, I'm sorry.
