New to this site, I am pregnant after tubal ligation.

I just found this site, been looking for pregnant people to chat with. I am on another site also but it seems slow...A little about myself, I am married say at home mom of 4. After our 4th baby DH and i decided to get my tubal ligation done. Well a few weeks ago we found out it didn't take (had the TL done Dec. 2011). I had an US done to make sure it was not a tubal pregnancy, everything looks to be in the correct place. If I have to be pregnant again, we so desperately want a girl, I know I can't change it now but we are hopeing. We currently have 1 girl and 3 boys...So here is to hopeing...

Not quite sure what went wrong. I guess my body gave us a big FU in us trying to FIX it haha. After this pregnancy is done we are going to get my tubal redone, but with a different Dr. and using a different way of doing it. Yes it was deffently a shock. We had everything all planned out, now are unable to do many of those things because we now have to plan and save money for a 5th child. A thing we never thought we would have to do!I am happy I am pregnant, but also sooo mad at the same time. I would never take it out on the baby, that would be mean, I will love this one even though it deffently wasn't planned. Thats why I said we want a girl so bad. If this is going to happen,I want a girl. We were trying for a girl on #4 but ended up with our Blake. Oh well we still love him! lol

Wow! This baby was definitely meant to be. I have my tubes tied also, can't imagine what a shock that must of been. Hope you get your girl.
