What's a Luteal phase?
Time from ovulation to first day of period
The phase after ovulation is called the luteal phase. The length of the follicular phase (phase before ovulation) may vary but the luteal phase length is generally constant from cycle to cycle for the same woman, lasting 10-16 days. When cycles are irregular, it is usually because ovulation occurred earlier or later than usual.
Ohhh okay, thank you! I usually O on CD19 or 20 with a 31 day cycle. Is that good or bad? Does length of periods matter because sometimes mine only last a day.
That would give you an 11 to 12 day LP, which is absolutely fine.
Not sure on the length of period. Sorry.
