Taking class C drugs in first trymester.

So I have been having big problems with my asthma, I am having a huge flare up. I have no choice but to take meds for it. I just got back from the dr. and after talking to another dr. they decided that I would have no choice but to take 2 different drugs. You have to breath, if you can`t breath well, you baby isn`t either. Well both of these drugs are considered a class C drug. I know i have to take them, but I am just so worried that something will be wrong with my baby because of it. Has anyone had to take a class C drug and their baby be ok? The dr. told me that if I were his wife, he would start her out on what he is giving me....I just feel like crying, please help all. Thanks. :sad: :worry:

At the end of the day, without you being healthy, your baby can't be and you have other kids that also need their mum.
But it's a horrible dilemma because you want your baby to be healthy too.
At the end of the day you have to trust your doctor to do what is best for both of you or change doctors if you don't.

Yes I know this, I will take the meds, because i have to. I was hopeing to hear if anyone else had to take any class C drugs and what was the outcome of that.
