Freak out with early Ovulation

I normally ovulate on CD18, it has been that way for months now. I was using EPO but it was just too much so I dropped it this month. While on EPO I always had an 'attempted' ovulation right around CD11/12 but never had ALL my typical ovulations signs line up until CD18.

Well, thinking I was still a week out from ovulation, DH and I DTD on CD11 in the morning. We took a long time, so lots of foreplay and he ended up putting some KY jelly on me after I had my big O.

I didn't think much of it all but then I got blood streaked ewcm on the morning of CD12 which is usually a sure sign of ovulation for me. I checked my cervix and sure enough it was SHOW. I wasn't checking it because I thought I still had a few days to go.

I thought back and realized that I had my normal pre-ovulation headaches on CD9, 10,11...thought it was just tired headaches.

We tried to DTD on CD12 in the evening with pre-seed but DH just couldn't release. Its a combo of tired and his anti-depressants that are getting in the way.

Now I'm freaked I would never had let DH use ky jelly if I had been more aware that I was going to ovulate so early this month. Everything else was in line for a good sway, I had been drinking coconut water and pineapple juice all week, exercising regularly now and good HE diet....still paranoid that the KY will be my downfall if I get a BFP.

I definitely think dropping the EPO was good for me even though it worked well in the past. I started getting some genuine ewcm on CD10. I have been getting tons of clear, watery ewcm that fits the description of EWCM, but it just isn't the authentic stuff I can get when not taking a boatload of supplements....

Part of me hopes this is my month for a BFP because I have been swaying since Oct 2012, part of me hopes I can try next month and be more on top of things.....grrrrrrr....:mad:

I wouldn't think the KY ruined anything. Atomic would know more than me, though. Hopefully she will chime in. I know preseed is better, but if that was the only part of the sway that wasn't perfect, you are probably fine. No one can get everything right....Why did your DH use the KY if you had preseed? Just curious.

Well having the bigO will help cause it would have made more ewcm up inside you where it counts. Try not to worry about the KY. And its funny to me because i would always O around CD18 - CD22... BUT the month we actually conceived i had an early O on CD12! Best of luck for a BFP!!!!

Lame reason...I keep the pre-seed in the bathroom under the sink with the applicators...we keep the ky in the night stand next to the bed. I'll be moving the KY to the bathroom and the pre-seed to the night stand if I get a BFN this month!!

Again, I was thinking I had days to go or I would have stopped him and used pre-seed like I have before when we are within the window.

Thanks Cinss, other than the KY it was a good attempt and I was in a good spot with swaying so here'e hoping that didn't ruin it!!!
Strange that we ovulated so early after normally ovulating on CD18, I wonder what the change is. I shouldn't be too surprised thought because I always had an 'attempted' ovulation on CD11/12 when on EPO. Wierd....

There are tons of opposites for pink swayers using a lot stronger jellies than ky!!! It's not ideal but try not to worry about it!!
