GD at its worst :(

I had to buy a few things for the boys and after seeing all of the frilly baby girl outfits I just wanted to cry.. knowing my scan is in two weeks I just have the worst anxiety because I know that I will probably have another boy, the "odds" are against me or so my sister in law says.. as if a pregnancy wasn't stressful enough at times this added gender stress is eating me alive:( I try to vent to my husband and he tells me to grow up, he really doesn't get it and the feelings I have.. sorry to vent ladies I had to do it somewhere! And Aside from all of this we are telling family we are team green just so they can back off.. at least for the next 8 months or so =\

Try not to let what your family say get you down. My mum tells everyone (even strangers) I am physically unable to have daughters lol, my body must attack them!! She has no idea but I just ignore her, in fact me and DH quite often laugh about it.

My husband didn't really understand either. I was upset last time. He thought I would be really upset this time. He didn't want to find out, but I did. I did find out and I guess I didn't act happy enough during the ultrasound, because he thought it was a boy. I was in total shock though they did say girl. He did find out within 24hrs because I slipped too many times. I do hope you hear girl at your ultrasound. I really thought the odds were against me too after 4 boys. I had the boy name picked out and even the take home outfit.

There is every chance you are expecting a little girl. I really hope you get your wish :)
I am ttc #3 also, and like you, have two boys. I'm not pregnant yet but already know what I am going to hear from certain friends/family "Only a 10% chance of a girl" Simply untrue. I believe its close to 50/50 and that swaying can only help improve those odds. That said, I know that I will be feeling the same as you if/when I get there.
Your dream is very much still a possibility.....Good luck with the pregnancy and here's to a healthy baby, whether pink or blue x

He he he, my friends (who don't know we did ht) keep saying that I should prepare myself for boy#4 because I seem to convert girls into boys in mt womb!

queen-bee.. your friends are exactly like my friends! I cannot take the comments and I am hoping it'll stop soon! And if we also do not have a girl this time we also plan to do HT, exactly the route you are going hopefully in a few years when we have some of my Dh's medical school student loans paid off:)
