Ok, so I noticed for quite some time that their are Alot of young (literly every girl who was pregnant when I was working) had girls! 9-10ths of the girls I see have Daughters! I'm talking teenage- early 20's maybe.
And I was wondering if you think their is a diet connection. They all weren't it Long relationships it seems (ones I knew) . One is like 24 had a boy 2 yrs ago when she and her DH just got together I believe.
Just curious.
I had my first boy at 18 and second at 21. But I am also in a long term relationship. So it may be that they are not in a serious/long term relationship? I have a lot of single girl friends who have girls. The only friends I have that are married with all girls is the one who had a lot of trouble getting pregnant and the one who's constantly "breaking up" with her husband. But their are a few that have both boys and girls...so I don't know
Interesting. I wonder if Lack of sex or manogamy has anything to do with this.
When I said something to my mom she mentioned that she knows they had less sex when conceiving me cause my Dads job and they didn't see each other as much.
When we cinceived DS, DH and I were trying for quite some time and regularly especially not just an attempt that month it was constant! Lol
And not to pony out too much but my Brother slept on couch when my SIL got preg so thinking not alot of action was going in there.
Other SiL and Former BIL had Twins but One of which was a Girl but They had problems (now divorced) and He was at least cheating. Soo hmmmm
I had ds1 when I was 16.. Ds2 18... Ds3 23 ds4 25
I was 20 when got pregnant with my first Boy. And 22 when got DS2.
my best friend became pg at 18 and Girl
my other best friend became pg at 19 and also Girl
an old School friend became pregnant at Age of 17 and has a Boy.
My mother became very late pregnant (Age 35) and i was her first Girl
On tv are programs like teen mother. I see that they mosly have Girls..but i think that is why they drink much alcohol, smoke and dont have a healthy Lifestyle.
but i dont believe in this.
I had my girls at 20, 21, and 22-- and was married before getting prego with the first.
I had DS1 at 22, DS2 at 24 and #3 (not sure gender) I'll be 26 when it comes. I definitely feel like more "accident" pregnancies end up being girls, but I know a lot of people from highschool who had babies and they were boys.
I have also thought there may be something to this HOWEVER when someone actually did a study they found that actually more young moms have boys. I think it has to do with higher fertility = more boys.
I agree with what Kitty says, studies have also shown that committed relationships = more boys so it may have to do with that as well. (these are just trends and NOT anything like 100% accuracy in any way.)
They don't know why it is but studies dating back to Charles Darwin's time have all shown that link between marriage and more boys.Quote:
