Hi girls
Just wondering how does everyone decide when their cd 1 is? Would you call it the first day of spotting when a tampon isn't needed yet? Or the next day when it's full on?
Thanks :)

Hi LL, when I was tracking through a clinic, I was told it is the first day you WAKE up with bleeding. If it starts in the afternoon, the NEXT day is day 1. HTH!
EVeryone you talk to has a slightly diff. definition of what CD 1 is, so go with your gut on that. If you have almost a full day of bleeding, even if you didn't wake up with it, I'd call that CD 1. If you have bleeding at 11:58 pm, then count the next day as CD 1. All day spotting with bright red flow first thing the next morning, I'd still call the spotting day CD 1. But spotting 3 times one day and then your red flow doesn't start till 3 pm the next day, I'd call the flow day CD 1.
My thinking is - if you think you have AF, you DO and should count that as CD 1.
Thanks Atomic! :)
