Hard to Retrieve- No more IVF/PGD for me?

My RE had a really hard time during my retrieval in my last cycle. He got 4 eggs out of 16 potential follicles. He said he gave himself 15 mins to manipulate and that my ovaries had migrated up into my bowels. I am a big girl and he says this made things difficult as well. He also pulled out due to potentially hitting bowel. In 2008, he said the same thing, I was 20 lbs lighter then. I would think that as he had been there once before, he would have allowed more time for my retrieval, correct?

If I loose 40-60 lbs, will it be easier for retrieval? Or am I out for IVF due to my ovaries being where they are? Are there other methods for retrieval?

There is one other doc in my area in my provider network for insurance. I am gonna meet with him and see if they will take me on. I think my current doc is gonna ditch me:(.
