Mom of 3 Boys Going for IVF/PGD for Our Princess

After our last sway at a girl ended with a beautiful and healthy boy we are now beginning our journey at IVF/PGD to attempt a chance at having a little princess. We have done all the pre-tests, and should be starting our cycle towards the end of July with a retrieval sometime in mid August. My only concern is I had a very low (undetectable) AMH and am 38. I was breastfeeding at the time and have now stopped, taken COQ10, DHEA, and had a retest yesterday and do no know my results. At this point, our RE is planning on using an Estrogen Priming Protocol, which is typically used for low responders, so I am not sure how all of this will turn out. I am excited, yet very nervous at how I will feel using the money for this purpose and it might not work at all.

Fertility Institute of San Antonio. RE is Dr. Susan Hudson. Our time line is probably to start Estrogen around July 26, then begin stimming August 3, with ER set for mid August. We will know more at our IVF class/planning meeting on July 18.

I'm in San Antonio too. I'm new to all of this, but I wasn't even aware anyone in SA even did PGD IVF!! I had been thinking of going to SIRM in Dallas, so this is so exciting to learn. I'm al little ways out though...just had my second little boy 9 weeks ago. I'd like to start trying when he's about 16-18 months, so aroundNov 2014, and I'll be 31.
