I went through all of my peppermint tea, so while I was out yesterday I grabbed Bigelow plantation mint. Now that I look at it, it is actually black tea and spearmint. Any benefit to me drinking spearmint tea or is it just peppermint that helps?

Hi! Here's the link to Atomic's essay on Peppermint Tea: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...depth-how.html
Looks like Spearmint tea can be used for swaying according to the essay. How much black tea is in the teabag? If it's a small amount of spearmint and mostly black tea maybe you'll want to use another tea, but it will probably be fine.
It's ok in a pinch, but black tea has seemed to be somewhat blue friendly.
thanks - I did not realize black tea swayed blue. I have still been drinking some. I will have to cut back. What do you suggest from a tea perspective? I drink a lot of tea, are there any others I can drink iced? I know green and now black are out and mint is only 4c a week.
I don't believe that it sways very strongly, this is just an observation largely from my personal experience (4 boys drinking tea, 1 girl drinking coffee). Just one of those things that some people choose to leave out just in case.
IG would claim all teas sway blue, I think most herb teas are fine (camomile)
