Its not about skipping breakfast per say, its more about skipping A meal to keep sugars, calories, and nutrients low, right? Right now I usually eat a few pieces of gluten free (brown rice) bread with dairy free/soy free butter, or a GF bagel with said butter or dairy free cream cheese (has very little nutrients) and that's about it. Am I safe do you think?
The first thing I want you to understand is that there is no "safe". People get opposites with "perfect" sways and their DG doing nothing at all to sway. So when people ask me things like that I feel like I have to add this disclaimer just to be really sure everyone understands that there are no guarantees and I really can't give straight answers to questions like this because it is literally impossible for me to do so.
To answer your question, all we're trying to accomplish with the skipping breakfast is just a nice long run with no food coming in. If you just can't skip breakfast, you could skip a different meal, or not. There are plenty of boy moms who always skip breakfast and girl moms who never do, it's just something that may help a bit.
If you do need breakfast in order to function (and many people do and have, and also got girls while doing so) we believe it's best to eat either pure protein (egg whites, full fat cheese) or pure carbs like what it sounds like you are eating.
I understand there are no gauntees. Poor choice of words I guess. I was trying to remember the reasoning behind the skipping breakfast. :). Thanks for the clarification!
