Omg please read

I've been on the mini pill since havingy baby boy the 4 weeks ago I had an ear infection the turned into a face infection resulting with 2 weeks of strong antibiotics I dtd up until I was ill and once on the antibiotics never had any because I was so ill once better used condoms 2 weeks ago I felt bloated and in minor pains and thought I was gonna have a monthly but being on the pill it never came I'm super emotional and its played on my mind because my mom said I get like this in early preg so I took a test it was negative then I went back morning and the is a faint blue line so I went and got another it said negative but took ages like minutes for any result to come up question can has anyone had this happen and not be pregnant only or have you been pregnant ?

you can get false positives sometimes if it's a dodgy test... I recommend trying again using FMU and a sensitive test such as FRER

I used a blue dye one that was neg then pos then red dye both neg this afternoon :-/ does that make a difference

I've known a few girls get preggers on the minipill, but many get false lines on blue tests. Good luck for whichever you're hoping for! :)

A red one has just turned positive now what are my chances :-(

I know it is so hard to wait, but I would do a FRER first thing tomorrow morning and make sure a line comes up within the time frame. I had lines come up with both of my boys outside of the time frame because I tested early and I am a POAS addict, but by the next day, both came up positive within the time frame first thing in the morning.

I have also had a few false positives on cheap tests so if you are really worried and can't stand to wait a couple of days, buy a good quality test and test first thing in the morning. That would be my suggestion. Good luck and I hope the answer is one that you want.

I'd also try again in the morning

it's the blue dye ones which are most prone to errors, so get a pink dye one and do it with FMU when the hCG pregnancy hormone concentration is highest. During the day it will be lower because you'll be more hydrated, which might explain some of your more recent BFNs

It was a first response one they are usually good with me I said to hubby I'd wait until Friday then test then in the morning what a bad shock I've done nothing but cry

I took 2 more tests and they was neg went to docs and the nurse said because it was out the time frame it didn't count and I'm not preg I'm glad because I'm losing weight ready for high tech when I am ready
