How many of you boy moms..

Got pregnant with your boys 4-6 days away from O? My phone says I am supposed to O on the 28th CD 16 but I am not buying it. I am already feeling cramping and what not. Soo today was the first day we actually BD and I didn't make him pull out. I am a little concerned I possibly did it too early .. and DH released last night soooo I am thinking I swayed girl .. but I did use preseed and had the big O before and after. And I am planning on BD again on Sunday and Monday and to keep going after that if I still don't have a positive OPK. But I just want to know if I possibly swayed girl or if there are a lot of you boy moms who conceived several days before O. My husband keeps telling me to just chill the hell out and that I am over thinking everything .. but he should know better by now!

One release the day before BD DOES NOT sway pink. As long as you continue to have attempts in your fertile window, you will have lots of swimmers in there.

BTW to answer your q I got my DS 1 with 2 attempts that far in advance of O and one was pretty much of a pullout. I had just gotten off my 5 day AF so thought it was safe. And my DS 2, we were TTC so BD a few times (2 or 3, no more than that) then DH changed his mind but we were several days before O (at least 3 and more likely 4) and so we stopped BD but DS 2 hung on in there!! DS 3 I was going for Shettles and DH wasn't even AT HOME when I ovulated, so again 2-3 attempts 3-5 days before O. :)

I did with DS2 I thought I was going to ovulated at the same time I usually did and nope no the month we conceived him. I ended up Ovulating on CD19 and we DTD on CD14...so 4 day cut off, but we were dtd every other day and my diet was very boy friendly....hope this helps :) I send you all my blue baby dust and you can send me your pink baby dust :)

Thank you thank you!!! I think in the back I my mind I am still hung up on timing and I know I shouldn't be. But that's all in have known for the past few years gearing up to think about ttc!!! I do have another question for you .. Say we BD 4-5 days from O and then every other day ... When I ovulate what sperm would be more likely to fertilize the egg? The old sperm from 5 days before? Or the newer sperm from let's say the day before O? And I am just having loads of EWCM but no positive yet (still using a bit of pre seed for lube) should we do it gain tonight or give DH a break and wait until tomorrow?

I conceived ds2 at least five days before o. Which I was told was boy territory. I wouldn't worry

Just a quick update! I took an Ov test this morning at 10:30 and it was neg. I noticed more cramping and a bunch of EWCM this afternoon so I waited and took another Ov test at 5:30 and it was positive! I am Ovulating early!!! So I am going to BD tonight and then once or twice tomorrow! I was totally not expecting this!!! Hoping DH will have enough swimmers ...

There is no way for me to know that and I can't answer your q. Could be either of them.

DTD every other day is gonna sway blue for you no matter what.
