Multiple pregnancies, having later baby be breech?

Ok I know I have PLENTY of time. This is baby number 5 for us, I am 28 weeks. By this time with my last 4 babies they were all head down. This one is still breech. Anyone have multiple pregnancies with a later one ending in breech? With my history of having babies heads down, is it even likely that this one will be breech at birth. Honestly I am not worried if she does stay breech, but am curious about how likely it would be. I believe in the saying that breech is just a different variation of normal. I have already informed my Dr. that if the baby stays breech I am not going to be sectioned. Thanks all!

Have you tried spinning babies?

Have not worried about doing that stuff yet. Don't know if it would do me any good beings I am only 28 weeks. If she is still breech by 30, 34 weeks I will try that stuff, the chiro, and such.

The more pregnancies you have,the more "stretched" the uterus leaving them lots of time to switch back and forth. I wouldn't be at all concerned until 36 weeks and even then would only really stress once you are in labour because I have seen babies flip even mid labour.
If you have had 4 babies before, as you say, breech is just a variation of normal and unlikely to be a huge issue. At the same time, I would make sure your doctor is comfortable delivering a breech baby because the biggest risk to your baby is a doctor who doesn't know what they are doing and start pulling on the baby.

Yes I have talked to my Dr. about delivery if she stays breech. He is unable to do them, but did say that in the event if it should happen. He would transfer me to a bigger hospital about an hour away, that does allow breech birth. Wish I could have a midwife like I did with baby 3 but none in the area..... :sad:

Non-scientifically...I believe it's just as likely she will flip head-down at a later time. Being she has plenty of room in there and plenty of space to flip around. More late-turning babies are from moms who have other children. My second was breech at 37 weeks...and head down two days later at birth (he was 8.5lbs!). I certainly wouldn't think it's more likely for her to stay that way.

My third was breech up until about 36 weeks so just keep an eye on position of baby later on.
