Testing pH help!

Hi! I'm new here (been lurking for a couple months) and we're gearing up to TTC swaying for a girl next cycle (yay!) We have 3 boys. Anywho, I bought a bottle of pH testing strips off of amazon that I believe atomic suggested in another post and I went to check mine yesterday and today and it didn't really change much. Looked to be between 4.5 and 5. I guess that's possible, but I'm wondering if I'm doing it wrong, lol. So, for those of you that have tested your pH, just how exactly did you do it? It seems as if there isn't enough cm for me to dip it in...I've just kind of been smearing it onto the stick, ha. Just wondering if there was a better way of doing this? Thanks!

There aren't many pH testers here...we're not convinced that it sways at all.

Hi. I had the same problem trying to test my CM with those strips. They never changed colour, it was frustrating. That was when I used to visit IG and thought CM testing was a must do for swaying. I ended up buying a digital PH tester off ebay that works just fine, but I test just for fun, I tested once before DTD and there was it. I don't believe your CM has to be super low anyway as that would kill off any spermies that are trying to hit the target (unless your DH has super high PH, then there is a chance). If PH is important to your sway and the PH strips are not working, I suggest a Digital PH tester (not the super expensive ones, just ebay) and baby aspirin and Diet Coke, it dropped my PH from 7 to 5.5.

I bought a pH tester online too... Checked cm once and it was 4.2 so decided I won't stress out about testing again... I am selling my pH tester... If your interested you can pm me... Good luck

after getting a boy with pH of 4.5 I have a hard time buying into the pH jazz any more, thanks to anchor for posting the "anti-pH" essay.
