Omega 3 vs Omega 6

Sorry, I'm sorry to ask you this, but can you give me an example of where I can get more Omega 6 or the fat i 'should' be eating vs the fat i should avoid? x
i'm at a loss, i'm avoiding extra virgin olive oil, but i'm still having low sodium butter and diet versions of cream cheese etc.
am i on the right lines at all?!

most vegetable oils, margarine, processed foods. You don't need to completely cut out Omega 3 and saturated fat, but it may help to have higher ratio of Omega 6 and transfats to the Omega 3 and saturated fat.
I ate butter the whole time when I was swaying pink, but had a lot of processed foods to counter that.
