After waking up with a 103 fever and a horrible sore throat this am, I went to my local urgent care. I have strep throat...yippee, hoping my kids don't get it. The dr prescribed me doxycycline. I can't find any real good answers on the internet. Some answers say its safe while ttc and others say it's best to wait a month. I will be done with it for about 2-3 days before I ovulate. Just wondering if anyone out there had any experiences with doxycycline that you could share. TIA
Geez girl, you can't get a break! It's an antibiotic, correct? As far as I know antibiotics are good for swaying blue, not sure why but it's supposed to help.
Although I would never take antibiotics for swaying unless I was using them for a legitimate reason at the same time.
It always seems like if it's not one thing, it's another. I am 28 and have never had strep throat. There's a first time for everything, I guess. It is an antibiotic, and I know antibiotics possibly sway blue. I just wanted to see if anyone else here has taken it or knows about its safety while ttc.
hi there, alot of us have taken doxycycline during the egg retrieval and the trasnfer process so im sure its safe.
I haven't, I know you aren't supposed to give it to kids cause it can mess up their teeth. Can you call the pharmacy?? They often will know if the stuff online is for real or just people covering their butts legally.
