Question re FR

Hi there!

I think we'll go with FR for our attempt but I'm not sure how to do 7-10 days fr and then 2-3 days cut-off before our attempt.

For example, my period started 7/10 and finished 13/10. So we could start on 14/10 and FR for about 7 days before O. There is not time for cut-off. Bit confused! Need some help here...

In other months, you'd need to have your husband do releasing on his own prior to the end of your period if you want to include FR and a cutoff. That obviously can't happen this month though.

I personally do not recommend doing a cutoff and so you could still keep the FR and have one attempt at pos OPK and be in with 7 FR or so.

Or, you could do a compressed FR and have him release 2-3 times for 2-3 days in a row before the day of your attempt, and that day try to have him release once in the morning and then have your attempt that night. Could be done with cutoff or not.

Or you could do hurry up FR, where on the day of your attempt, he releases once, dumps it, then DTD again as soon as he is able to, hopefully within 3 hours but no more than 6 hours, using only the second batch for insemination.

Or, you could forget frequency all together, have DH do regular release every 2-4 days, and just do one attempt at cutoff OR at pos OPK.
