Help! 14 week ultrasound had 3 lines but tech says BOY !

I had an ultrasound and tech said they thought it was a girl. She showed me the three lines and one appeared to stick out a little more than the others (Middle line). She then got the picture I posted and said she was 100% boy! It looks that way to me but my other two boys never had 3 lines but their ultrasound were not this early. I feel so conflicted now. Is 14 weeks unreliable? What are others thoughts??

I think it does look boy. I'm sorry. It's still early though and that could be cord. I'd wait until a later scan to get confirmation.

That looks a lot like a boy. I have read that sometimes boys can have three lines depending on how their little bits lay. That could possibly be the cord but I doubt it. The cord probably wouldnt show as pointed like that but I don't know. It is early though. I'm assuming your having another u/s in the future?

Yes, we're going to have one at 20 weeks. We decided not to tell gender until that scan. I hate the unknown lol! We are happy no matter what the gender is.

Probably a boy but waiting until after your next scan to confirm and announce is a good idea :)
