Mineral oil as lube?

Some RE's and doctors recommend olive oil and mineral oil as a safe lube when TTC?
I conceived 2 boys using olive oil. It has a higher viscosity and osmolality than pree-seed. Replens and KY are lower than pree-seed. I wonder if this would have anything to do with conceiving 2 boys while using it?

•Olive Oil: Olive oil is a wonderful tip for getting pregnant and may be used in the same manner and for the same reasons as Pre-Seed (see above). All natural oils such as olive oil may be safely used as a lube during baby-making-sex if you happen to be too dry. Doesn't alter pH balance and therefore sperm friendly.

Some of you may be concerned about using natural oils such as olive oil. These oils will not cause infection as they are natural plant oils and are readily absorbed into the skin and are nutritive to the body. I use these myself and have never had an infection. However, you do not want to use animal or petroleum based oils (or genetically modified oils). These will do more harm than good. Also no hydrogenated or partially-hydrogenated oils.

There is one kind of highly purified mineral oil called "pharmaceutical grade" that ~may~ not harm sperm. ALL other mineral oils are toxic to sperm and are made from the gasoline-refining process. NOT natural.

EWCM is far and away the best lube for TTC blue. Olive oil is NOTHING like EWCM. EWCM is water soluble and you need soap to get oil off your hands. Sperm is designed to swim through mucus, not oil - oil is not friendly to sperm, they can't swim through it like they're supposed to. PreSeed and egg white are both water soluble like EWCM is and are much better choices for TTC blue. If you got pg while using olive oil, it was likely in spite of the olive oil, not because of it.
