What is going on with my cycles?

I am so confused. I have been ttc since last December, and have been on HE diet since March of this year. My cycles before the diet, for as long as I can remember have been around 30-31 days with ovulation around cd 17-19. On the diet it has pretty much stayed the same except I have had a few months where ovulation was on cd 20-21. However, these last 2 months I have ovulated early Last month I ovulated on cd 17 with pos opk on cd 16. This month I had a pos opk on cd 13 and ovulated on cd 14, this has never happened this early in my cycle. I am using the clear blue advance opks which use fmu. This month the day I got my +opk I used smu, but it was not diluted. I never had a flashing smiley, just a solid but I didn't test the day before at all because quite frankly I just forgot because I was up all night with dd2 who has an ear infection and I forgot to take my tests to work that day. My temps are higher today not that high to "confirm" ovulation, but my cm is starting to dry up this am. I was only able to get 1 attempt in with preseed, which really saddens me, due to work schedules and my surprise early opk. We did attempt on cd 10 with preseed, but I am sure that's too far out to make a difference.

Anyone have any clue as to what may be going on or go through anything simular? TIA

That is not unusual at all - when you're on HE your body has more raw materials to make estrogen, build lining faster, etc and so you're just able to surge and ovulate sooner.

Were you able to get in more attempts WIHTOUT preseed?? I never used Preseed when I got my little men.

I made attempts at o-4 and o-1 (pos opk day). Both attempts were at night so no jump and dump, both attempts were with preseed. When I used the preseed both times, it was only like a fingertip amount, and it was on him and not placed inside me (tmi). I try not to use much preseed, since it's so expensive and sometimes a little does goes a long way. This month, I had ewcm, but it didn't seem as plentiful this month so that's why I used the preseed, but like I said I usually don't use much anyway. Those 2 attempts were all we could do, between work schedules and a clingy dd with an ear infection, it was hard to get some alone time when we weren't too exhausted to try. If this month is a bust, I plan on seeing if my obgyn will send me to a fertility specialist as soon as possible.

I think that is a good attempt, don't even worry about it!!

:agree: with not using too much Preseed, that has seemed to work for quite a few people.

My ovulation has been a little wacky too since on the HE. At first I usually ovulated on CD18 then slowly moved to CD15. But the last two months have been 7-10 days of ewcm...this last cycle ewcm went from CD15 to CD25 and my cervix was no help...this is not normal and has to do with estrogen or something like that.

If AF shows up...which it might with all this spotting I'll take a break and use pregnitude for a few months and then try again in Feb.

This is so frustrating...what are we missing? What is the missing element? I almost think that because we are natural girl swayers trying to sway boy is more than our body can handle in some ways. Maybe its not until we find the right balance of supplements and hormones that we'll be able to get prego. Who the hell know????

This is very frustrating to say the least. I have no clue what the missing piece to this puzzle is, but I hope we both find it. I never thought getting pg would be this hard. Month after month of trying with no success is really taking a toll on me emotionally. I don't want to quit, I don't want to throw in the towel, but I don't know how many more months of this I can take. I do plan on seeing if my obgyn will send me to a fertility dr, if this month ends like all the rest of them have. I will just have to see what happens I guess.

Adia, I feel your pain too. It's very hard to stay positive when you have been trying so hard with nothing to show for it.

Hoping we both see some positive results soon.

I was almost 2 weeks late. The 3 HPT I took were all BFN. I had some serious pregnancy symptoms that made me REALLY think I was pregnant but their was a sharp drop off in symptoms on Thursday...which is when the spotting started.

AF started this morning and it is a whopper. I won't be surprised if AF shows a miscarriage as I have been cooking something for almost 6 weeks now and I am never late unless prego.

This has turned into as much of a mental challenge as a physical one.
If I was prego, that means everything is working mechanically. The Fertility doc kept wanting me to do the fallopian tube dye test but I didn't want to fork out the money as I really didn't think it was needed. I just have to figure out the hormonal part of this.

On the heartache side of it...DH and I are both sure we want one more baby. DH was a pill after the first few months of TTC because it got old but now he's nothing but supportive.

I keep telling myself to just keep trying, I have no where to go and nothing to do beside keep raising my kids and moving on with my career so TTC for a while longer will do no harm. The only frustration is that it is taking so long and I feel like my girls are getting older and older which will make a baby an only child in someways. I have seen the 'clump of kids and then "only" child a few years down the road' with my sister and others and its really no big deal except for the baby feels a little left out of the 'crowded' years. But that is from a big family perspective...DD1 and DD2 would have loved being an only child!

My plan...synthroid, pregnitude, DHEA, & milk thistle (liver support) for my two month TTC break, then 50mg clomid when I TTC in Feb.
