OPK temp help...please?

Hello! I am new to OPKs and was hoping someone could help me interpret mine.
My testing got screwed up due to the holidays and being gone to family Thurs and Saturday.

Monday - BD
I test on Tues - Negative 3:00 PM (just to see how test worked). Basal 96.8
Wed - BD no test Basal 96.8
Thur - Gone, no test, no basal due to children waking up early
Friday - Negative 3:00 PM, BD. Basal 96.3
Was gone Saturday so couldn't test or BD. Basal 97.8 but was awake awhile but tried to go back to sleep and not move.

Sunday Basal 97.4 - awake awhile again, tried to lay there and go back to sleep.
Sunday I tested at 12:30 PM before I left for a b-day party and got a test line slightly lighter than reference line. Per my test, it tells me it's only positive if the test line is darker or equal to reference line. Since I was unable to test Saturday I didn't know if it was starting to peak or going down. So, I decided to test again at 9:00 PM Sunday. Test line was darker than it was earlier in day, but still lighter than reference line.

Today (Monday) I tested at 3:00 PM and test line is very faint. Basal was 96.9

I don't know what to do because we are trying for a girl and was hoping to do 2-3 day cutoff because we did it once on O day both times before and got boys. I am a little surprised because my first period off BC pills was 32 days so if it would be this time I shouldn't ovulate until Thursday, but my average cycle TTC when got pregnant with boys was 30-32 days so was expecting anywhere between this Mon - Thursdayish.

So, we haven't BD since Friday. If I ovulate today or tomorrow is that too far? Since my line is faint today would this be an O+12 attempt? Along with hot shower, shallow and jump&dump would I be okay? Grr I used to know my ovulation day without even having to test or anything. Sometimes it feels like I O twice a month. Yesterday and today I ache down there, but not a particular side, like mild period cramps. But I have a tilted uterus so it's hard to distinguish between uterine and bowels. Yesterday and today I also have occasional throbbing breasts...could this be O or has ) happened and my egg got attached by a swimmer?

Anways, this might not make sense...I feel like I'm all over the place! Any help or thoughts appreciated! :)

I would guess you haven't ovulated yet based on your temps.

Thanks, I appreciate any and all feedback! I'm starting to wonder if my thermometer is messed up....just for curiosity I checked my temp a bit ago. It was an hour after I worked out and before I ate supper and it read 94.6...??? Even possible?

I wonder if I just did ovulate. I just went to the bathroom and there was a little color...assuming that is the egg breaking out? Does the color show up right away or hours after? So now I don't know if we should BD tonight or if it's too late?! Could there possibly be any swimmers left from Friday? Oh how I wish we were home Saturday! A few days ago I had EWCM but I'm assuming that was my DH fluids. Other than just now, today it's almost been watery, but that could be from running. Also, thought I felt a sharp pain lower side yesterday or day before but I was around a bunch of kids and family and didn't really know - and assumed it was too early - which it must have been since I had a couple somewhat dark lines yesterday and today it's barely faint?

So confused because I've always known, but my body is taking awhile to get back to normal after getting off the pill (sway help?) and I feel like I have symptoms all the time. Really odd my breasts have been really aching and throbbing today and yesterday, that never has happened to me even when I was pregnant.

Lol, I'm a mess and don't know what to do tonight...Lord have mercy on me! :)

So, it's really next to impossible for us to tell what is going on in this kind of scenario without a chart to look at and missing days and stuff.

The reason I say I don't think you've ovulated yet is you ahven't had a positive OPK. it is possible that you missed the surge but it's equally possible for tests to get darker and then lighter and then darker again before the surge occurs.

It would be a real stretch for sperm to make it from Friday to Tuesday. Not impossible but improbable.

An O+12 attempt is BD 12 hours after ovulation, and I think the easiest way to do that is to go for one attempt 48 hours after positive OPK. I personally do not recommend O+12 and explanation of why is here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...9-no-12-a.html

Re O pain, you can have ovulation pains before, during and after ovulation. There is NO WAY to know when you ovulate based on O pains. YOu can have pains on either side and in the middle with ovulation - eggs develop in both ovaries and this causes pain plus a lot of other hormonal stuff going on. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ing-depth.html

Yes it's possible that your thermometer is a little lower than it should be, but it doesn't matter because it's the changes in your temps that matter and not the temps themselves. I doubt your temperature was really 94.6 that's like hypothermic LOL

Don't take your temps at any different time of day than first thing in the morning. They don't tell you anything.

You can have some spotting around ovulation because your cervix is soft and very easily injured. This can cause a little bleeding that people mistake for O spotting.

you can get a little burst of EWCM when your fertile window opens that then dries up for a couple days or comes and goes - your body doesn't understand that showers exist now and thinks that EWCM can stick around for days on end. :)

One thing to consider is that you may have ovulated earlier than you think and you could actually be preggo now. The lowness of your temps make me think this is not the case but it is possible.

We came to the conclusion last night that we weren't going to worry about timing. Our main goal is to get pregnant, regardless of sex, if we get pregnant that baby was meant to be and will be a blessing from God. Having said that, we did the few sway things we could and hope between that and a little change of diet, that will help us sway. I haven't been able to do any of this very long anyhow, wish I would have came upon this site a little sooner. You ladies are rock stars to be able to make so many changes to your diets and lifestyles for so long!!!!

Was just curious what my temp would be at that time, because every time I go to the doctor I get told I have a low temp and very low blood pressure. This pill I just got off really messed with my body. Last month I had ALL the signs of ovulation around day 15. Day 23 I had a sharp ache on my left side and more EWCM, then had to have an ultrasound and the tech said it looks like you just ovulated on your left side. Who knows, I do come from a very fertile family...

This morning my temp was 97.6. Finally got some real EWCM today after just feeling wet all day yesterday (Sorry TMI). I am tuckered out, been sneezing and am cold as hell all day so I'm just going to take a break from all this and let God's will take over.

Anyone know the link where I find the 2WW information so I could read about that? Just wanted to know the stuff I am supposed to keep doing (skipping breakfast) or stop doing (crystal light?). THANKS!!!
