If ewcm is pretty good, do you use real egg white?

This might have been asked before, but I can't find it anywhere and I kind of need to know fast.

Tonight's the night - first attempt.
+opk just now and temp drop this morning.

I tested ewcm this morning with digital and it was 8.6ish.

I was planning on using real eggwhite because ph was really low before so the ph was a surprise.

*Should I still use the real egg? Is it the more the merrier?

ewcm is moderate in quantity - not a ton, not nothing.

+opk is from 1:30 pm today (had a fade in negative this morning and negative last night), will I still be in good window at 4am?
That is when DH gets up for work and I thought his "output" would be best after sleeping, he can get up at 3 have a strong coffee, put out the egg(if you think we should use it) and then BD

*5 day cutoff for this attempt (cycles are weird and didn't know when to stop)- does everything look good to go?

Hi Deb, I think you should go for it! About 12-18 hours after +opk is ideal. Don't use too much ew....in fact, I worry that many of my bfn months were because I gave the sperm an ocean to travel in instead of a nice little ****** to swim up, kwim?

AGH I'm so sorry I am jsut now seeing this!! A thousand apologies. :( I'll answer this and hope it's pointless because you're already preggo with a little man but if you need to go again next month, you'll have the info.

I would NOT use the real egg if I had a fair amount EWCM and the pH was good. Your pH always goes up quite a lot at ovulation so that will be a reg. thing for you.

The thing I don't like about egg whites is the pH may even be TOO high, (it escapes me how pH that is higher than people naturally even HAVE could be required to TTC a boy!!) and also because it may dilute/wash away some sperm - just like Lola points out. I think EWCM is much better than anythign that came out of a chicken.

BD in the morning does raise T a bit and also may help with slightly higher sperm count. Normally I dont' think it's enough difference to bother with but if you both are on board, why not??

You are a bit long in terms of number of days since you BD, 2-4 is best but 5 days isn't terrible. It may be that since you are BD in the morning, the tiny increase in sperm numbers from the morning BD will make up for the tiny decrease in sperm numbers from BD after 5 days abstinence rather than 4.
