Please help - TTC Girl

Hey 

I really need help for best thing to do to TTC a girl
I am on 30 day cycle (goes inbetween 29-32) on day 14 of cycle – calenders say not ovulation day until Monday but I have pains and ferning in test

I need to know my best option to do for TTC a girl
We have not DTD since Sat but hubby is 42 so best not to abstain
if we DTD twice today and tomorrow to make low sperm count and try on Friday will that lean girl?

I think we are getting best results with one attempt in the fertile window regardless of frequency. I agree you guys should not do abstain.

If you want to include frequency patterns, you can do either:

Compressed FR where he releases on his own or with you, iwth a condom (do not have any more than one unprotected attempt!!) for 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days before your one attempt. These releasess can be separated by many hours, up to 12 hours apart.

or Hurry up FR where he releases once, dump it, then DTD again as soona s he is able to, within 6 hours or better yet within 3 hours and only that second release is used for your attempt.

One attempt is getting 75% success for pink regardless of frequency, so no matter what, stick to the one attempt.

What day is best to attempt? Is day before or on O day ok or does sway Blue?

O-1 is probably best so you don't miss the egg. Other than that it doesn't matter, since timing doesn't sway.

Stupid question.. what's O-1? Day before? Thanks!

I know Atomic has always recommended make your attempt as soon as you can after getting a positive OPK. Hope that helps.

Will closer to O sway Blue? :-( on day 12 atm

Sorry! Yes, O-1 is the day before ovulation and usually what results from one attempt at positive OPK like Trishy said. It doesn't matter if you BD close to O as that doesn't sway blue. It's the number of BD attempts in your fertile window that seems to sway - 3+ attempts blue, 1 attempt pink. One attempt the day before ovulation/@ positive OPK has the best results for girl so that's our mantra here. :)

So frequency definately doesn't sway?
I will also be using Rephresh (not sure if to use sylk as well?)
Hot shower before and J & D any other tips?
Would love a girl!

Frequency may sway a little bit but it is just not getting good enough results to make up for all the trouble it causes.
