16 weeks - Tech says girl...

I figured I would post the pic of my gender scan. The tech said looks like a girl, but didn't sound too convincing. I wish I had a video, but didn't get one. DH and I both swore we saw boy parts as the baby was moving around - the baby was moving around A LOT. Could have been cord I guess. The 3 lines are pretty clear in this pic, but I feel like the baby is angled up so parts may be hidden... could just be wishful thinking though. I'll see what the doc says at 20 weeks. DD is so excited for a little sister. :)

I hope all is well with the baby. Are they going to do a higher level scan to look at the intestines again? I would insist on a scan by a specialist.

This was an elective ultrasound, that I had scheduled earlier. So, it wasn't diagnostic, it was solely for looking at gender. But, I do go back Jan 13th for another ultrasound at the hospital. Waiting to hear back from dr today about results of blood work from yesterday... not sure if they will want me to come back for another ultrasound sooner than Jan 13th or not. But yes, depending on the outcome if they don't recommend a specialist I will request one.
