I've heard/read that october is a very good month to ttc a boy. what other months are good to ttc ab boy?
I think anytime during winter is meant to be good.
I heard/read that the most boys are born in September so conceive in dec or jan!
I honestly don't think it matters too much, so ttc when you need to!
If it helps any i have 6 boys and these are the month i concieved. July-september-july-february-may-september.
DS1 last week of May and DS2 beginning of May.
On astro.com there is a lunar calender based on Dr J's month theory. But based on it and the people I have tested it on it it only about 40% correct.
Mine were conceived in November, September and January so they kind of fit the theory - but I see that many others don't!
Im thinking to try in Oct. but I read all this Sept. here hmmmm:think: but if I get a bfp in Sept. and it's a girl I would forever blame myself why didn't I waited till Oct? aaaaaaaa:hair:
And im In FL Sept. Oct. is still hot so does it matter at all?ehhh
Please read http://genderdreaming.com/forum/show...ns-and-swaying about the science behind WHY October is a good month to sway blue (in the Northern Hemisphere anyway)
There is a peak of girl conceptions in April and then a peak of boy conceptions in October, but think of it more like a yearly cycle...a pinnacle of boy conceptions in Oct. dwindling down to a yearly low in April and then starting back up again. So as you get closer to October, your odds go up and as you get farther from October, your odds start to go down until you hit the low point in April. (Please note - both boys and girls were conceived throughout the year but swaying is all about maximizing these tiny variations in gender ratio, until they're all working for us.)
The best three months for blue are Sep-Nov. Aug and Dec. are prob. still boy friendly (although I feel "better" about Aug than Dec. because day length and ambient temperatures may be cues that your body picks up on.
The best three months for pink are Mar-May. June and Feb are prob. still girl-friendly (although I feel "better" about Feb. for girls than June because of the day length and temperatures)
July and Jan are prob. somewhat neutral, although (as you may have guessed LOL) I feel "better" about July for boys and Jan. for girls.
