Yes, I tried the Chinese ones, I think they were called glas noodles over here, they were very low protein.
The taste was okay, they are a bit jelly-like, I ate them without condiments because at lunch time IŽm just so hungry now that i like pasta and rice plain now. I think if you spice them up and add leeks and zucchini it tasts OK.
But I think I also could feel they had less protein, 2 hours after lunch I was hungry and with low blood sugar again, normally with my couscous I feel better for a longer time and since I really try not to snack I didnŽt eat them anymore.
BUT I discovered gluten free pasta, the amount of protein in it is more than half less than in normal pasta!
And it tastes like normal pasta, I think youŽll really like it. You just have to check all the types because they vary in amount of protein.
