To DTD or not to DTD tonight !!!... Please help.....need answers quick!!!.

Hi Girls,

This will be my 2nd cycle of TTC and I've just got a deffo positive on my OPK ( ones off the internet) it's really dark, I would say the same as the test line or even darker :)
I am also using the clearblue fertility monitor as well, but that just says 'high' this morning not 'peak' so not a positive on that one!!.
This happened last month when I got a positive on the internet OPK and only a high on the clearblue fertility monitor........ and we didn't DTD until a few days later as I was waiting for the monitor to give me a positive so we missed the egg :(
I think it may be faulty as it worked with my two sons and then I lent it to my friend. I have re-set it, but I think there may be something wrong with it.
Anyway, for any of you also using the monitors, would you wait until you got a peak on the monitor or go by the internet OPK??.
It's 11am here (GBT) so I am going to do another one this afternoon and see what it says.
What do you think?.

Go by the opk. The monitor also reads estrogen but if your estrogen is low from diet wtc then it won't pick up and you could miss the surge anyway with just once daily testing I bet

I would go by the OPK! Sperm can live for longer than an egg, so better a cut off than missing O altogether! I think I might have missed my egg last month, too. Good luck!
