Girl after 3 boys stats?
I'm sure this has been asked but I don't even know where to start looking!!
How many of you have had a girl after 3 boys and no sway? I know it makes no difference to my outcome but I'm still curious!
When I was expecting my 3rd, hearing friends having a girl after 2 boys made me think somehow that would diminish my chances. This time I feel like I'd have more hope hearing other moms had a girl for their 4th without trying or an oops like me:/
Thanks!!

I am curious about this too!!
I personally know a few people who have 3 and 1, no purposeful sway.
My one friend has 3 boys but her ds2 passed away and I think her change in diet and personality after that swayed for a girl for her. she had lost a lot of weight after not eating.
Not sure about the others...

I had three boys and now expecting a girl, as far as diet, hadnt really changed although had a thing for beetroot at the time, the only thing I think contributed was that hubby had a u.t.i so ate litrally all my cranberry tablets in the 2 weeks before I fell pregnant!

I was just searching for this yesterday! I thought Mrs P had a post somewhere but couldn't find it! Obviously, I'm very interested in this too!
Right after I gave birth to DS3 there was one of the nurses who I was talking to. She said she had 3 boys too but didn't stop there and went on to have a girl. There was also this old man that stopped me in the grocery store one time. He was adamant that I had one more just like his wife who had 3 boys then a girl. It gives me slight hope, but not much since I feel strongly this is boy #4!

That wasn't the case for us, although our number 3 boy was number 3 & 4 and then 5 and then 6 were boys too! ;)
I've also seen quite a few families with 5 boys and then number 6 was their girl, but then again, not for us. Now I'm listening out for stories of families with 6 boys with no. 7 being their girl to get my hopes up. ;)

Gosh! I really hope #4 would be the girl. I have been pregnant a total of 6 times. My first two were boys, of my next three losses, we only tested one baby which was a boy. I then had a twin pregnancy and my dreams told me they were b/g but only the boy survived. Sure hope lucky #7 is my girl! We swayed this month-and I have been on LE diet 16 months, so we shall see. I hope you have you your baby girl :) I would think the odds are the next baby would be a girl! H&H 9 months!

I know several families with BBBG, good luck!

Thx girls! I'm ok having another boy as I know how much I can love all of them but it would be nice to have a girl so I don't have to have a little sad feeling in there forever. I would have swayed again if I was to go for # 4 on purpose but I don't ever think I'd have the nerve. Actually I know I wouldn't have! It's not the fear of another boy anymore it's the pregnancy and the change to our lives! Although my husband is totally fine with the idea so that calms me:)
So afraid of the sickness though... Hasn't hit yet which is go of me false hope I think:/
More stories welcome! I like just hearing from moms with lots of kids too! Tell me how awesome it is;):)

You'll do great coocoo!! (Huge congrats!!)
I know several moms with BBBG, in fact, I don't know any with four boys (in real life). I can list three who have three boys and then a girl. I don't know about their lifestyle or if they swayed or went high tech though. Just people in my social circle. I know one of them was an oopsie fourth, so I assume she didn't do anything to up her chances of a girl (but is also know her third was an oopsie too!). The other two I am not close enough to know the details. One is currently expecting #5 though, so I might be inclined to believe the 4th was planned? Hard to evaluate when I don't know them super-well.
I hope you get your girl. Not because you *need* one though. :D

I just saw a thread about this, it was started by Mrs. P and is probably in "new posts"!!! If anyone has time, can you find and link it for coocoo (sorry in a rush to finish short q's before Suzy wakes up)
