Help!!! Need some advice
Hi everyone!
So today I am CD9, we are ttc blue and haven't been on the HE diet too long. I started testing for O using clearblue digital testers yesterday (maybe a bit early but I didn't want to miss LH surge as this is our first attempt). Anyway, I wasn't expecting a 'smiley' at all, but I got one this morning. Ofcourse I started freaking as I was actually expecting it next week. So I did another one 10mins after and I got no smiley, just a blank circle.
Has this happened to anyone before and should i interpret that as a positive or negative? We were 'scheduled' to BD this morning haha so we did.
I put some preseed in the VJJ lastnight as I read on the forum you can use it every other day in the lead up to O. Would this have affected the ov test?
I haven't started my robitussin yet either as I wasn't expecting to O. Will this be detrimental to our sway? Out should I ignore the 'smiley' as a 'no smiley' was straight after it?? I'm so confused! Help!

It's hard to know truly what is happening - personally I am not a huge fan of the digi testers because they are so expensive you can't test very often with them, and so it's harder to be able to pick out the pattern.
It is possible, albeit unlikely, to surge on CD 9. Some people find that if they normally have longer than average cycles, going onto HE moves them forward. So I really doubt that this is your surge but it is not impossible. Glad you attempted!!

Thanks atomic, we did attempt, but I'm still anticipating O to happen around CD15/16. So I'll just continue on with my original plan. I was googling it, and apparently u can have an LH surge where ur body is trying to release the egg, but it fails, so u may get another true LH surge when Ov will happen. All a bit confusing, so I'll keep testing and hopefully see another surge when I expected to. Thanks for ur advice, I was horrified when I saw the smiley at CD9. But I guess I'll keep going until I (hopefully) get another positive

Yes exactly that! :) Just be ready for another attempt because this is prob. not the real deal.

So just updating incase it happens to anyone else using clearblue easy opks, I got another smiley face today (when I actually expected O to occur). So I got a smiley on CD9 and CD16. So glad I kept testing and didn't take the 'stop once you get a smiley' instructions or I would have missed my true surge.
