Possible oops....
I'm new here and have a question. 12 days ago I had my mirena removed. Besides ttc it caused really bad migraines and mood swings. I went on loestrin the same day as removal. I'm trying to regulate my cycle and rid my body of the mirena hormones. I've taken my pills every night and haven't missed one. I did start my period on the 21st and it lasted over a week. Well last night, the first night after my period stopped, my hubby and I DTD and now I'm wondering if I could have gotten pregnant. We are waiting to ttc until May/June. Our youngest son has a Dec birthday and we are trying to avoid another Dec baby (I have 5 Dec birthdays already including both my parents)
I am cramping this morning with a bit of spotting. I know it's way too early to know anything 100% but any advice is appreciated.
Just some added info...I am EXTREMELY fertile without bc and both my boys were conceived after one shot.
Sorry this is lengthy. I'm anxious about this... Neither myself or hubby have started our sway....

I don't think the bleeding has anything to do with conception. It's either from the aftermath of DTD or the hormones. You would have had to ovulate within 24 hours of DTD and it would not have implanted yet so no spotting from that!

So it's highly unlikely I'm pregnant?

I think it is highly unlikely yes but anything is possible. If you have implantation bleeding then a test will come up + in two days after the cramping and bleeding. Anytime women go off of BC of any sort your cycle can get wonky and you can ovulate at odd times. Most people get pregnant before getting their first period though thinking they were safe when they weren't.
Don't get too stressed or worried! Hoping you are just having random spotting and will a chance at your sway.
For what its worth I too had sex the last day of my period and spotted for 3 days about a week afterwards and I thought maybe I too had gotten pregnant. Nope my cycle just got wonky and is now 10 days off.

The anything is possible is what's got me a bit worried lol. If it's meant to be then it will be :-)

It's unlikely you are pregnant. I mean like less than 1% (whatever normal BC failure rate is)
The spotting is most likely from the changing of one type of BC to another
