Ovulation Testing Question

Hi there,

This is my first cycle that I'm using the Wondofo ovulation tests, next cycle I'll be using the digital as well.

I typically ovulate around cd 19, my cycles are 35-37 days long right now . I'm on cd16 today, two to three days ago I noticed my strips got much darker but not quite as dark as the control line. Today the line is much lighter, almost gone.

Was that a surge ? I have the clear mama goo/jelly going on, so I'm sure it's close. The tests should get all the way dark, right ?

I've read so much info on this site the past week that I can't remember what I saw or wich thread. Sorry if this has been covered before !!

Tehy are supposed to be as dark or darker than the control BUT sometimes it doesn't go down that way - maybe you miss the surge or maybe your urine just never got concentrated enough.

Since this isn't your "normal" O day, the most likely explanation is that it was a fake, "almost there" surge and not the real deal. But do always stay open to the possibility that things can go pear-shaped when swaying is concerned.

Thanks !! The test got dark'ish again today. Are the digitals any better ? I didn't want to drop more money until we're in the ttc cycle but now I'm curious.

I do know that about a week or less that it feels like I'm ovulating, then it'll happen again. Maybe it's just that ?

I have the around ovulation pooch that makes me look pregnant...whee..

I am not a fan of the digitals, I think they are equally as confusing as Wondfos if not more so and plus they're very expensive so you can't test as freely as you would otherwise.

Some people like to have a digi on hand as a confirmation if they think they see a surge on their cheapies and then they canverify with a digi

Thanks ! This morning I got two dark lines on my wondofo, cd 23 but it's there. A few days later than I expected. I was about to give up using those . Hopefully it's the real thing .
