Any point in a girl diet three days before I ovulate?

I am new here! Hi! I am wondering if a LE diet is pointless when I am three days to ovulation? We plan to start tonight and should ovulate on Tuesday or wed. We are on cycle 5 and new to swaying. Thank you!

Yes, pretty pointless in my opinion. Probably the only thing you could plan to do is the one attempt at +opk.

Pretty pointless, but I would probably start ASAP anyways. What if this isn't your month and you don't get pg until next month or the one after that? You might as well start preparing in case.

Yeah start anyways but the diet wouldn't have any effect this month. You could surely do the one attempt at +opk and maybe a jump and dump and try to keep your blood sugar super low and do the no snacking and fasting for 12-14 hours at night before eating the next day. No snacking during the day either. That would be your best chance. Good luck!

I agree... if you really want to try this month then try to keep your blood sugar low especially right before attempt till several days after you ovulate, J&D, one attempt. Maybe get DH to take a hot bath or go on a really long bike ride or something along those lines. Both you and DH have one too many drinks on attempt night:) If abstaining isn't possible then you could also do frequent release with one attempt. Start the diet ASAP though cause if this isn't your month then you are better off next month.

Jump and dump is right after you DTD, "jump" up and "dump" as much semen as possible. I didn't do this with both of my DS (always thought you had to lay there) so I fell asleep. With both DD I got up right away and went to the bathroom and pushed everything out (TMI sorry).

It can't HURT, but I don't think it will do a whole lot.

I'm a bit confused and still learning. When you say one attempt you mean only BD once this month? And does that mean on ovulation day or anther time?

Yes. One attempt means BD only once on or before ovulation day. You can catch the egg up to 4 days before ovulation. If you BD and then don't ovulate till 6 days later than I would probably BD again. Does that make sense?
