UTI

Hi all
I said in another post how I was given the wrong antibiotics for a uti and was waiting for a different prescription. Well, apparently the Dr tore up my new script as my test came back from the lab clear even tho the nurse said I tested positive there and then. I'm still experiencing symptoms of the uti and am worried it could cause problems. I'm drinking lots of water etc but I can still feel it's there.
I can't get to see my Dr til next Friday. Do you think it's ok to wait it out or should I go wait for an emergency appointment? Thanks

Honestly, I'd get another appointment. With another doctor. A second opinion can't hurt!

The thing is I don't even know what Dr it was. DH went to pick up the prescription and was told I didn't need it (tell that to my bladder lol) if I wait to see someone it's pot luck who I'll get :/

Hi girls I went for the emergency appointment, got test blood and white cells found. Told the dr I was pregnant she asked when i last saw a midwife, told her I hadn't yet so then she asked me when I have an appointment to see one I said I don't so she gave me a look like I was a simpleton. I told her seeing as I have to wait a month to see my own Gp for referral that appointment isn't til next fri. So she gave me a prescription and I went to pick it up, lo and behold they didn't have that particular antibiotic and I was told I'd probably have trouble getting it (WTF?) went to another - yes we have it but can you call back our system is down. Ok. Came back - sorry I read that wrong we don't have those and I've rrang around, can't get them and there's a manufacturing problem with them. OK 3 more chemists later I had to go back to th des to have it changed. She want there, had to call back. Finally after first going in at 10 am I got my tablets at 4.30 pm Hurray!!!!!!!!! Imagine if I had of been in agony? It's a joke.
Anyway sorry that was long but I had to vent lol!
