Got my +OPK just now! OMG!!!! IT'S TIME!

I just got my +OPK so it's time!!! I'm so excited!!! I just sent my hubby a text to meet me in our room at 8:00pm! lol!!!

So....Any last minute advice?? Here's my current situation/plan...



1. We completed day 6 of FR yesterday so today would have been our day 7.

2. At 10:30am I took my RePhresh (waiting about 10 1/2 hours until we DTD so it's ready to work so that's why I told him 8pm. (Is this ok?)

3. At 3:30pm I'm going to be taking my Zyrtec (I'm on Day 4 of the 5 day thing with this)

4. At 7:00pm I'm going to use half an applicator of Aci Jel (I already used a full one yesterday because I thought I was about to get the smiley face and got nervous but didn't. Is this ok? Should I eliminate it or go ahead an use a full one?)

5. At 8:00pm I'm going to take Benadryl, have him take some Benadryl, take my hot bath, and paint my nails.

6. At 8:30pm I am going to have hubby take his hot bath. Meanwhile I am going to light some candles, play some music and set the mood so we're both relaxed.

7. At 9:00pm we BD!!!!



Anything else I need to add? Take away? I'm so ready!!!

I'm wondering if the rephresh, acijel, Zyrtec and Benadryl would be too much? I'd personally drop acijel but it's your call. Have you ever done a rial run if rephresh and acijel to make sure they dont cause some reaction when used together ?

You might also consider alcohol! ;)

I haven't put them together to see how my body reacts. I know the aci jel did well with lowering my pH. I thought all of that might be too much too! I think you may be right about dropping the aci jel. I used a full applicator of that yesterday evening and used the RePhresh this morning. That may be too much doing the aci jel again today. My hubby bought some Mike's Apple Cidar Ale last night. Is there any alcohol you recommend?

Everything you are doing sounds good. Definitely add a few drinks. Red wine and margaritas (not together:)) is what I have always done. My DH doesn't really drink so not sure how critical it is for him but if your DH wants to partake I am sure it won't hurt! For yourself wouldn't do anything with too much sugar in it to keep your blood sugar relatively low. Good luck!!

UPDATE: So this is how everything went.

LAST NIGHT: I took my Zyrtec at 4:00. When I got home I got dinner cooked and everyone ate. We put the kids to bed at 8. I took my bath, took 2 benedryl and gave hubby 2 benedryl at 8:00. Hubby took his bath at 8:30. I only drank a little wine because makes me feel friskier therefore I Orgasm easier so I didn't drink much. BD took forever because hubby had already been doing FR and was having a hard time with the shallow penetration part (he likes to "deep dive"). I had to keep singing gospel songs and Twinkly Twinkle Little Star in my head to keep from orgasming. It worked! LOL! My hubby was also killing the mood. He cut the music I'd put on off because he didn't want to hear it. He blew out all the candles because he was hot. He stopped 3 times during all that to open windows, dry himself off again etc . He finally finished at 9:30 though. I didn't D & J because we've been doing FR and I doubt there was an abundance produced anyway and didn't want to hurt chances too much and I never filled up the applicator of aci jel. I just used a pea sized amount and we ended up needing Ky jelly. I propped my legs up against the wall for 40 minutes (excessive but I wasn't taking chances) Now the 2 WW begins.

THIS MORNING: Part of last night and this morning I'm feeling a little crampy. This hasn't happened to me before. Any thoughts on this? What does that mean for TTC girl if anything at all?
