Planning my sway
I am nearly 35, DH is 42. We have two boys (7&5) and a girl (3). No problems getting pregnant in the past. My diet (until the last week!) was a very boy friendly diet. I am 5'7" and weigh 148 pounds. My exercise routine was 20-25 minutes of interval training using 5-8 pound weights about 4 days a week. I am debating how long to be on the LE diet before TTC. I am willing to go for 3 months if that seems to help people. I read the info about no exercise or an hour a day. I am not an exercise lover so that would be a real challenge for me. If I do decide to go for a 3 month LE before TTC should I not exercise that whole time or just stop when the time comes closer? Anyone have advice to share?

If you've been doing interval training, an hour a day on the elliptical or speedwalking on the treadmill will be cake for you, even at 5-7 days a week! I wouldn't dismiss the exercise out of hand since it's been pretty darn successful. It's more the time that you put in than the intensity that's annoying. You only need to do the exercise for about 8 weeks before your first attempt. If you decide to go the couch potato route, I'd stop your exercise now. It takes time to turn your muscles to mush.
I just recently found out my sway was successful, and I went couch potato until 8 weeks before (not on purpose, had an injury) and then averaged over 6 days a week of cardio only for an hour a day until BFP.
The diet is getting the best results at 12+ weeks on LE and vegetarian except for cheats. Fiber supps are easily added, and getting pretty good results. Don't forget your folic acid, and baby aspirin helps with faster conception.
Whatever you do, one attempt is getting the best results for frequency. Timing doesn't matter. Best bet to get pg fast is one attempt at +OPK.
Good luck!

Thanks for your input. So if I decide to go for 8 weeks of exercise and 12 weeks of LE what do I do about exercise for the next 4 weeks? My old interval training routine? Some cardio? Nothing at all? I forgot to mention that I weigh about 15 pounds less now than I did when I got pregnant with my other kids.

Just do the cardio during the 8 weeks and try to hold steady in your weight if you're at a good weight, or drop a few more pounds if you can. For now, do NOTHING at the gym. Your current routine is very boy friendly. You coul do the cardio only now if you want to, but your muscle mass will probably disappear faster if you just veg on the couch for 4 weeks.
