Advice needed!!

So I am currently 17 weeks pregnant and finally starting to share the news with people. One of my friends who lives in another state doesn't know yet. We are close in that we still talk on the phone, text, and keep in touch. I am reluctant to say anything yet because she had a MC last year and is currently TTC but not having much luck. She wants a 4th baby really bad and this is my 4th baby that wasn't planned at all. She was suppose to have her baby (that ended in early MC) in June so this month. When should I tell her? I don't want to hurt her feelings but I am afraid if I wait much longer that will upset her also. I am not very good at this so any advice would be appreciated!!

I might be tempted to wait until July to share, but in the end, if she is a good friend, she will be happy for you no matter when you tell. She will be sad for herself, but happy for you.

I found it difficult to hear of my friends pregnancies when I had had m/cs and no children, but that didn't stop me from being thrilled for them (a little envious, but thrilled for them).

If you are ready to share, then do so. You can be sensitive to her, but you aren't responsible for her reaction.

I think it may be more bittersweet then painful, but I don't know her.
Oh, and if there's anyway to avoid telling her on would have been her due date (if you know it), that would probably be appreciated by her.

OMG yes!! I need to look at my past text messages and see if I can figure that out. Thank you!!!

I would say something and comfort her this month and let her know I think about her lots and wished something else for her. and then I would tell her that I hope she knows I would never hurt her but that i was expecting.
I think waiting hurts more then sharing and letting her know how much you feel sorry for her.

Did you tell your friend yet?
If so, how did it go?
