I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. I have had the same shocking news this week and also never experienced a miscarriage. I would hope that your doctor was confident that the antibiotics were ok otherwise he/she wouldn't have prescribed them for you. I know how you feel to be questioning though - I am doing the same, it's only natural. From what I've read it is likely to have just been one of those things. I know that's no comfort though. It hurts terribly I know. Sending you a much needed hug.

My heart sank when I saw this post. This is absolutely, positively NOT your fault. I am 150% sure. Miscarriages can happen to anyone. I understand the tendency to blame yourself (I've had 3), but truly there is nothing you could have done differently to have a different outcome. I'm so sorry for your loss....I hope you can find a way to start healing.

My suggestion, just hug them. They may not "do" hugs, but right now what you need is more important.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It's heartbreaking. I am so positive that the antibiotics wouldn't have caused your miscarriage. Most of those warnings are just precautions, not actually because they are known to cause problems.

I know what is it like though to pick through everything at that time and wonder, but unfortunately miscarriages are a way too often event for reasons we will never know and not caused by anything we did or didn't do. 😞

I am so sorry Beau - I do not think it was your fault and I also don't think the antibiotic had anything to do with it. Even the most dangerous drugs only cause problems some miniscule amount of the time and they have to be taken for long periods of time before they do.
