Progesterone levels and gender
I have no idea when I conceived. I was not swaying at all. I successfully swayed for my little girl 3 years ago and hung up my conception hat. I am in my mid 40's and always had IF issues so I was told I would not get pregnant on my own likely. And at my age...and my AMH level is unmeasureable..it would not likely happen.
Surprise! I was supposed to have surgery today. Instead, my blood work showed an HCG level of 56 (yesterday) and followed up with progesterone level which was in the 20's. Opps!!
So fine..this is exciting! I go for repeat blood work tomorrow.
In the meantime...I am curious. Since I have no clue when I o'd (I have found my HCG levels to be related to gender) and I was not paying attention to any sort of swaying anything....I am wondering if perhaps the progesterone levels are related to gender? I happened to notice when I looked back over my HCG levels with my other children, my progesterone was always in the 20's with the boys but 44 with my daughter. Was the a fluke? Or are they related?
Progesterone levels and gender
Congratulations on your surprise!
I've never heard of progesterone levels being related to gender.
Have you checked LactMed to see if the shot is safe while nursing? Drs are often overly cautious with meds & nursing.
