Yes I had but thanks for posting. I'm in the process of switching people over to folate when it's possible.
I still maintain that the risks of 1200-1600 mcg folic acid are minimal and in this study and others the concern for the vast majority of the population is older people. But for anyone who can afford folate, why not?
Geez, this study makes me nervous. I have taken 5 mg (not mcg) of Folic acid with each pregnancy due to my Epilepsy medication.
Boysway, seriously, it is ok. The people who may be negatively affected by folic are almost always elderly or have something major wrong with them (and you'd know if you have it)
If you're on medication that blocks folic, you NEED more, full stop.
