Just one BD at positive OPK is still the strongest sway tactic IMO, so what DH does on his own or with you using a condom before that one unprotected attempt doesn't really matter. Do what makes you both happy.
You should only take folic acid, DH can take licorice root and/or olive leaf extract.

I can't recommend supps/vitamins without a sway questionnaire because not all tactics are appropriate for eveyrone and I don't have your personal info.
RE every 4 days - I still think that the absolute best of the best of the best sway will be frequency pattern (like abstain) + one attempt at pos OPK. So I generally have people start off doing that, and then over time if BFN, switch to every 4 day then.
But if you're in a hurry to get pg, never get pos OPK, or it just seems like too big a PITA, you can of course always start off with every 4 day, it worked for me!!!
It is frustrating not getting pregnant quickly, but I would really love a girl so I would try whatever's best. With my boys we had quite a few attempts, I didn't really know when I ov'd. It took us 4-5 months to get pregnant too! I did all the boy things...like laying there for ages with my legs in the air & the big O. My cycles are random 28, 30, 34, 29 - so I will be using OPK to pinpoint when I ov for our first attempt. Will be buying a plan from you very soon! I also had a very boy friendly diet.
