Has anybody recieved wrong gender from harmony blood test?

Hey guys! So I had the harmony done at 10 weeks. I am now roughly 12 weeks and they said low chance of abnormality and a little boy. Has anyone or someone you know recieved the wrong gender from the test? . And they said heartbeat was 170.. Just wanting to hear if anybody recieved wrong results?

I think there was one member that did. Atomic may remember.

I did the test at 12+4 and so far 5 scans have confirmed girl. Another 5 weeks til i see it for myself. I did book a gender scan to confirm it as soon as i could, shouldn't have needed to tho x

Do you know if harmomy said boy and it turned out to be a girl or a girl that turned out to be a boy?

I thought I've read that in Some rare cases when the mother had a Son before the male dna could be detacted and could give falset boy result.

But it's very rare. I thought i remembered that one person had harmony say boy and got girl.

I don't know anyone who has received wrong results but nothing is 100%, there is always room for error. Heart rate has nothing to do with gender.

Allegedly, HOWEVER, that woman never came back at the birth - at least not that I am aware of. It was like a case where she had the blood test, it came back blue, then she had an ultrasound that indicated pink and chose to believe that the ultrasound was correct and the blood test wasn't. In my opinion, a very big case of wishful thinking there.

I think that if you are obsessing over Harmony results, you need to take a deep breath and a step back, because the results of the blood test is almost certianly correct. Nothing is 100% but it is WAY more likely to be accurate, than not.

Heartbeat is not a reliable method of gender prediction.

Thanks guys for your response!! I have been wanting a little girl so bad even did all the suggested diets, etc.. I have just always thought GIRL! Just hit me that I'll be having a boy!.. I Guess I'm somewhat in denial!

Either way I'm happy he will be healthy!
